The Breakdown in Syria-latest update

The US is still widely concerned with the Syrian crisis as they pressure the Arab League to meet int Baghdad, gathering ahead of the Arab League summit. The UN-Arab League peace plan brokered by Kofi Annan urges Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to put commitments into immediate effect. Head of UN Ban Ki-moon believes that there is no time to waste and that the plan is the initial step forward.

US State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland says that Assad has not fulfilled his promises. Syria which was suspended from the League last year seems reluctant to take in the 6-point peace deal. A Syrian government spokesman told BBC "Since our membership was suspended, we deal with other Arab countries on a bilateral level only." The Syrian government does not hope to deal with any of the proposals made by the league at any level.
The summit will be the first major summit to be held in Baghdad in more than 20 years. A clear sign that the country is progressing forward. Though with levels of hope low and tensions high many Arab leaders have chosen not to attend the summit. Their absence will disappoint the Iraqi government which has hoped to re-establish itself within the Arab world after almost a decade of violence.

Meanwhile, in Syria violence continues as millions of women and children, innocent civilians are being killed everyday. Louay Safi a member of the opposing Syrian National Council exclaims "We are not sure if it's political maneuvering or a sincere act (regarding the peace plan)". What he says he does know is "We have no trust in the current regime... We have to see that they have stopped killing civilians.

Update: The Daily Star, Lebanon reports that as of 6 hours ago twelve foreign ministers have gathered in Baghdad on Wednesday to debate a draft resolution to end violence in Syria. The talks were also attended by Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki. Talks on the Palestinian territories, Yemen and Somalia also pervaded. Though talks of Syria was the central theme.
"Our brothers in Syria are continuing to suffer from the regime there" said Libyan Foreign Minister Ashur bin Khayyal in the opening meeting.
Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari says he rejects foreign intervention in Syria but supports Syrians to determine their own future. "We support the legitimate ambitions of the Syrian people for freedom and democracy and their right to determine their future and choose its rulers," he said.

Who knew bin Laden watched Obama on TV? His journal and other shocking discoveries.

Read the link below for the crackdown on the latest news on bin Laden.

bin Laden's secret journal uncovered. Apparently the now dead terrorist was suggesting Al-Qaeda to target smaller cities such as Los Angeles as well, and was even looking to target trains, rather than just airplanes.

"It may be the most valuable find of all - a written record that takes readers inside the mind of America's greatest enemy."

These pictures are? FAKE

     http://wacawogef.blogspot.com/2011/05/osama-bin-laden-fake-picture.html

Having seen a huge header on Daily Mail UK's website homepage on May 1st with Bin Laden's real blood stained decapitated face on it, I came to believe that this was his real dead face. A mere minutes later, I once again logged on to the same homepage to find the picture gone. It was a fast updated, and I was somewhat confused why the most important picture had disappeared from the site so fast. Today I cam across a link that explained it all, it turns out the photo was made by Pakistani's and was a fake.

Read more about it here: http://www.euronews.net/2011/05/02/dead-bin-laden-photo-is-a-fake/

Where he lived, and where he died.

We all know that Bin Laden has been hunted and killed in a compound in which he lived since 2005, for six years no one had found him and bothered to look for him, because we all thought he was living in a cave? The past still remains a mystery.

The compound in Abbottaband was definitely no cave, but rather like a mansion when compared to neighboring houses around it.

Here the neighbors talk: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-south-asia-13257338

With Bin Laden dead many people came out to celebrate on May, 1. But some still speculate that the real Bin Laden is not dead. Until the US Government releases the official pictures of Bin Laden we can only wait.

Royal Memories-A look back at the wedding of the year.

On the beautiful Friday of April 29th, under Halo gray skies that remained dry, Catherine Middleton married Prince William in Alexander McQueen by Sarah Burton.

The Queen, Elton John, the late Princess Diana's Brother and Nieces, and family were present. Interestingly enough William looked quite bored at the altar while Catherine stood calm and diligently. The woman is remarkably classy and well mannered, quite soft spoken as well. After all the choir singing and celebration, the couple retired back to Buckingham Palace in a carriage befit for only Cinderella herself, but don't be fooled Kate is not your regular Cinderella, but a modern day Princess, which a touch of Reiss, a modern classic. Then after the couple emerged with William behind the wheel in his father's sports car, and off went the happy couple. The partying for the wedding held out until the wee hours of the evening. A perfect ending to the perfect relationship, or perhaps it is only the beginning?
